Timed assesment

Once we had shot both are looks we were given a 'buddy' this was for when we have to meet up and discuss are looks inwhich we had created it and how we did this. then to create a facechart with directions on how to create one of are loks for the buddy to do within 2 hours. This could be either your catwalk or editorial.

Here is the face chart in which i was given to avhieve.

And this was what i created from this. i really enjoyed doing this is was nice to have to desogn something yourself and to test your self on how long it would take you. i  did my assessment in 1 hour 10  mins.

Final images for catwalk

This was one of my favourtie shoots to date the images in which i captured where beautiful, it really shows the natural beauty of my models face. The natural makeup worked amazingly well with the necklace and this really helped the image to stand out. i could really imagine this walking down the catwalk in a tribal inspired range.
Its such a difference in i used the same model for both shoots so to see the comparisen of what she can look like is amazing.

Final images for editorial

here are my final images for editorial, i was happy with the hair and design concept. i probably could of worked alot harder in getting my lines straight and perfect. but overall the shoot went well, eerthing worked. and i got a few good images from it.

The hair really brought the image out and made it very colourful and inviting to the reader.

Chosen look for catwalk

This is a very natural look, everything is done with the natural face all lines and the dinfined areas. once your eyebrows and eyes are contoured with the illumasqa 'deamon' draw to lines from the corner of the eye pointing down towards the nose. really conour the cheeks bones this will look amazing on the camera. and with a red lipstick really get them lips covered.

The hair for ths image is simple but very powerful. gather the natural clients hair and sleek back as tight as you can into a high ponytail. using gel makesure all hair is stuck tot he head, then with a long hair head piece add this to the ponytail. this will give the client long and sleek hair. to me this shows power. and with the necklace on thats what is to be shown off, so a basoc makeup and hair this does this.

Block out the eyebrows to give a more difined look for the eyebrows being so sharp and black. using white supra draw to lines down the face one smaller than the other. make sure you really contour the check bones.

keep the models natural eyebrows if they not big and just make them arched and feel them or add colour to make them black. using red supra colour create little spots above the left eye and exactly the same on the right but just underneath the eye. using a deep red blusher contour the cheeks woth this.

block the models eyebrows out and give them realy red arched ones this will bring out the rest of the faceial colours. comtour the eyes and cheekbones. and with a red supra create the lines on the cheek and under the lip. then with dark red lipstick gloss the lips.

the eyebrows need to be thin for this look. as its going to compare o all the other lines in the face.contour all areas of the face including the nose. and with a black eyeliner or supra draw the lines on the head makesure they are even distance apart. then measure up to draw the black lines on the face and then for the red line. add a bit of bronzer to clour the face a little bit. then with deep red lipstick only draw over the iddle of the lips.

Chosen look for editorial

this image is created by your basic correcting of the skin and colour of the skin to get a flawless look, then using a soap block the eye brows so you cant see the natural line. once these are dry and youve covered them to match the skin tone you can start with the red.

now woth the illumaqua 'deamon' shade gently create a mask like look on the eyes but making sure the lines are striaght otherwise it will be begin to look like a butterfly. then blend it down the eye to nothing, this creates a lovely sy,etrical effect.

With the same colour draw the lines for theeyebrows and the same for just under the eyes.

Now using a black eyeliner you can create the dots on the forhead, make sure they are even and not to big. and under the lip the lines need to be straight and even both sides of the lip. with a high ligheter contour the cheek bones to ake them look more defined and add a deep red to the lips.

The hair was created sectioning the hair from crown dpwnwards and pinning that away. then fom forehead to crown gather littl sections no wider than 3 inches wide. Then everyother section till you get to the ear is kainrosed and the other section is sleek back to the head and pinned with gel and hairspray. once you have completed the top of the head.
With the back of the hair is all just pinned up towards the crown and then back combed to create a messy up do. add bits of crepe hair to give it some colour. When the top sections which are sleek back are dried add a red supra colour to the section this ill also give it colour.

Face charts for editorial

using tuplast you can begin to draw the lines and dots with it and let it dry. once its dry you can cover in foudation then colour with supra colour. gold lips shows elgancy and wealth. i really like this face chart but it wouldnt fit in with many of the tribes i reaserched.

again use the tuplast to draw the lnes this indicates scarification to the skin, this is well none in the tribal culture, then with a supra black cover them. the black and deep red are ery strong colours to use on someones face. i would need a very strong, tanned model for this to work.
the white areas on this face chart are done with fullers earth scratched in with black. this is a very effective method of creating the look.
the lines and dots on this chart is just a black supra colour. the eye colour is illumasqua deamon.
